Kris Trudeau has been a website and print designer for over eleven years. Starting out first in the print industry, working at a pre-press house and then a print house; two positions that were ideal for seeing in action a large, otherwise unseen element of the printing process that not all designers get to experience. Gaining this fundamental knowledge early in her career has been a solid foundation on which proper print design practices have been built. This experience allows her to design things that not only work right the first time, but also the given her the ability to build design solutions with little tricks to make your design better while keeping costs down.

Kris's website design experience began full time at a shop that required designers to code their own sites. Again, gaining this level of granular insight to how websites work has been a key to her success as a website designer. Having an intimate knowledge of how sites work and how they're coded ensures that the design is always suitable for code, but also allows her to build sites that are intricate and complex in terms of design.
